Postgraduate education, or graduate education (PG), involves learning and studying for academic or professional degrees, academic or professional certificates, academic or professional degrees, or other qualifications for which a first or bachelor’s degree generally is required, and it is normally considered to be part of higher education. In North America, this level is typically referred to as graduate school.
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD, PhD., or DPhil) is the highest university degree that is conferred after a course of study by universities in most countries. PhDs are awarded for programs across the whole breadth of academic fields. As an earned research degree, those studying for a PhD are usually required to produce original research that expands the boundaries of knowledge, normally in the form of a thesis or dissertation, and defend their work against experts in the field. The completion of a PhD is often a requirement for employment as a university professor, researcher, or scientist in many fields.
To get post graduation (PG) you need to go to the preparatory department first. It is necessary to get time for clearing the nostrification procedure. Nostrification of degree in Ukraine – is a certain number of procedures that result in full recognition of document by Ukraine, which has been obtained in any other country. All educational documents, which passed the procedure of recognition by Ministry of Education of Ukraine are comparable (in legal terms) with a degree of any Ukrainian university. Therefore, after completing this procedure, you will get an absolutely legally recognized degree. Only with the Nostrification Certificate student is allowed to be enrolled for the post graduation (PG).
Kindly note that all the PostGraduate courses are connected to practical classes in hospitals and all the other organizations necessary to obtain the Practical knowledge. So basic understanding of local language is useful to understand the documentation and communicate with patients in hospitals. Not to mention the great impact of knowing the local language for general convenience of life in Ukraine while studying.
After the preparatory department you can continue your Education in English or Ukrainian Medium, in any Ukrainian University of your choice.

PH.D. AND MASTER’S PROGRAMMES IN ALL FIELDS

The Master’s programme lasts – 2 years.
The Ph.D programme lasts – 3 years.
